Dan Haider celebrates one of his 28 points

The Archbishop Murphy boys basketball team beat Cedarcrest Friday night 56-48 in front of a supportive crowd. Murphy stays undefeated in conference play at 3-0. It was Cedarcrest's first conference loss as they are now at 2-1.

Murphy was led by Dan Haider, who double-doubled with a career high 28 points and 12 rebounds. Phil Hoban clocked in another productive night, adding 11points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. It was also good to see the return of Murphy's two football players, Mark Schireman and Sam Shober. Schireman marked Cedarcrest's phenom Zack Taylor all night, limiting Taylor to 11 points. Shober added physical play in the paint and pitched in with 5 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Complete stats can be found here

Be sure and come out to the Murphy gym on Tuesday, December 17 to support the Wildcats as they host the Lynden Lions. Tipoff is at 7:00pm. GO CATS!

Thank you CATFANS!
